“Sewage is treated with the same processing equipment and is as colorless and odorless as pure drinking water, and it fully complies with the company's circulating water quality standards. This water will replace the new water supply to the company's circulating water system.†July 1st, Shi Hongmei, deputy director of the industrial water workshop of Karamay Petrochemical Company, told reporters with joy in his hand.
The device was started construction at the end of July 2009 and has a design capacity of 200 cubic meters per hour. The entire process, combined with biochemical treatment, flotation, filtration, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration desalination process, can treat the qualified wastewater discharged from the petrochemical wastewater treatment plant and some qualified wastewater from thermal power plants for advanced treatment, effectively removing and reducing organic pollutants in the wastewater. , ammonia nitrogen and salt substances, treated sewage fully meet the water quality indicators required to enter the circulating water system.
The device was formally transferred to production on June 11 this year. From June 13th to 23rd, Petrochemicals calibrated the performance of this device. The calibration data indicates that the total effluent water quality standard of this set of equipment is equal to or better than the water quality standard of the reused water and meets the technical agreement requirements.
It is reported that after this unit is put into operation, it will save 800,000 tons of new water for Keke Petrochemical.
